Eliza A. Dunlap being by me the undersigned Justice duly sworn declares That she boarded in the family of Mary C. Lewis whose application for a Mothers pension on account of the service and death of her son Wilson L. Starkey is suspended for additional Evidence. That she lived in the family with said Mary C. Lewis about one year being from the fall of the year 1861. That she knew of said Mary C. Lewis receiving from said Wilson L. Starkey for her support five dollars at one time in a letter soon after she went to live in the family of said Mary C. Lewis and learned that said Mary C. Lewis depended very much upon her said son for support. That she remembers said Mary C. Lewis at several times received money from her son to assist in her support but cannot with certainty state the dates or amounts, thereof, That said money was received in letters, which deponent saw at the time they were received and opened, and saw money taken from them, and she is not interested herein. X (her Mark) Eliza A Dunlap Sworn to and subscribed by the aforesaid Eliza A. Dunlap before me personally this 14th day of April 1864 and I certify that I am acquainted with her and believe her statements entitled to credit and I am not interested herein.
