to Joseph Bowker 4.Locke 25. A This Indenture made the twelfth day of July in the Year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and twenty four Between John Minard of the town of Locke County of Cayuga and State of New York of the first part and Joseph Bowker of the same place of the second part Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of One hundred Dollars Dollars lawful money of the United States of America to him in hand paid by the said party of the second part at or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged Hath granted bargained and sold remised released aliened and confirmed, and sell remise release alien and confirm unto the said party of the second part in his actual possession now being and to his heirs and assigns forever, All that One equal undivided half |

Of fifty acres of land situate on Lot Number four in the town of Locke lying in the North West corner of s’d Lot No. four nearly in a square form and at morefully known by being formally owned by John Minard deceased and now conveyed by John Minard as an heir of the s’d John Minard deceased. Together with all and singular the hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and the reversion and reversions remainder and remainders rents issues and profits thereof. And also all the estate right title interest property claim or demand whatsoever of the said party of the first part either in law or equity of in and to the above described premises with the said hereditaments and appurtenances. To have and To hold the said premises above particularly described to the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever. And the said John Minard for himself heirs executors administrators do covenant grant of the second part his heirs and assigns the above bargained premises in the quiet and peaceable possession of the said party or the second part his heirs and assigns against the said party of the first part his heirs and assigns and against all and every person or persons whatsoever lawfully and equitably claiming or to claim the the whole or any part thereof forever to Warrant and defend In Witness whereof the said party of the first part has here unto set his hand and seal the day and Year first above written. Signed Sealed and delivered in presence of Levi Henry Silas N Bowker Cayuga County Ss I certify that on the 29th day of July 1824 came before me silas Bowker to me known who being sworn said that he saw John Minard execute the written deed as grantor and knew him to be the grantor described therein. And that at the same time he subscribed his name thereto as a Witness which is to me satisfactory evidence of the due execution of said deed G.
