Be it known unto all men this Sixteenth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy four That I William Coulton of Blockley in the County of Philadelphia being weak of body but of perfect mind and memmory. Do make and ordain this my last will and testament that is to say Principally and first of all I Recommend my Soul Into the hands of Allmighty God and my Body to be buried In a Christian and Decent manner at the Discretion of my Executors Hereafter named and for such Worldly Estate as I have I give [devise] and dispose of the same in manner and form following [— mprims] It is my Will and I order that in the first place all my just debts and funeral charges be paid and satisfied Item I leave and Bequeath unto my loving wife Phebey Coulton one half of my Estate Real and Personal During her widdowhood and after her widdowhood or Decease my mind and will is of that the said effects Real and Personal of which I have left unto my Loving wife Phebey Coulton shall [desolve] to my Son Joseph Coulton as his Real Property Item I give unto my Son Joseph Coulton the other half of my Land or Estate Goods [chatties} & to him his heirs [and assigns] Item I give and Bequeath unto my daughter Lydia Warner Twenty Shillings. Item I give and Bequeath unto my Soning Law Isac Warnor the sum of Ten Shillings Item I give and Bequeath unto my Daughter Rachel Bonsall the sum of Twenty Shillings Item I give and Bequeath unto my Soning Law Enoch Bonsall the sum of Ten Shillings Item I give and Bequeath unto my Daughter Margaret Winn the Sum of Twenty Shillings, Item I give and Bequeath unto my Soning Law Thomas Winn the sum of Ten Shillings. Item I give and Bequeath unto my daughter Phebey Robinson the sum of Twenty Shillings. Item I give and Bequeath unto my Soning Law Edward Roberson the sum of Ten Shillings. Item I give and Bequeath unto Joseph Coulton after the marry or Decease of my Beloved wife the Land both Reall and Personal unto my son Joseph Coulton to him his heirs [and assigns] And I likewise do hereby constitute Approval and ordain my Son Joseph Coulton and my Sonning Law Isac Warner to be Executors to this my last will and Testament Performed Lastly And I do hereby utterly disalow Revoke and Disanull all and Every other and former Testaments Wills Legacys and Executors by me in any Ways before this time named Willed and Bequeathed Rattifyind and Confirming this and no other to be my last Will and Testament William Coulton (a seal of some sort) Signed Sealed Published and declared by the said William Coulton as his last Will and Testament this Sixteenth day of April in the year of Our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy Four And by us Witnessed in the Presents of the Testator Thomas Musgrove Thomas Marshall Senor John Mathes — Philadelphia June 15th 1774 Personally appears Thomas Musgrove and Thomas Marshall two of the witnesses to the foregoing Will and on Solomn Affirmative according to Law did declare that they saw and heard William Coulton the testator therein named Sign Seal publish and declare the same Will for and as his last Will and Testament and that at the Execution thereof he was of sound disposing Mindr Memory and understanding to the best of their knowledge and belief
