This Indenture Made the Seventeeth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and Ninety eight Between Jacob Huyck of the Town of Walter and County of Delaware and State of New York Farmer of the first part and Isaac Huyck of the Town and County aforesaid Farmer of the second part: Witnesseth that he the said Jacob Huyck for the sum of Three hundred seventy one Dollars twenty five Cents to him in hand paid by the said Jacob Huyck the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath Bargained Sold released conveyed and quit Claimed and by these presents doth grant bargain Sell Release and quit claim unto the said Isaac Huyck all that Certain Lot or piece of ground Situate Lying and being in (Pia?) Field in the County of Delaware and State of New York and Known and Distinguished in a map or Survey thereof made by William Cockburm among others Cotz by lot number Eighty nine Bounded as follows to wit Beginning at the South east Corner of Number Eighty one a rock maple tree Cornered and Marked 81..82..89..90 & runs |

thence South two Degrees and thirty Minutes East forty two Chains to a beech tree Cornered and Marked 89..90..97..98.. thence South Eighty seven Degrees thirty West fifty Chains and three Links to a Stake ten links from a beech tree Cornered and Marked 88..89..96..97 thence North two Degrees thirty Minutes West forty two Chains to a Stake ten links Southerly from a Beech tree Cornered and marked 80..81..88..89.. thence North Eight Seven Degrees thirty Minutes East fifty Chains and five links to the place of beginning Containing Two hundred and ten Acres, Together with all and singular the Waters Water Courses Profits privileges Advantages Herdetaments and appurtenances whatsoever to the said hereby granted Primises belonging or in any wise appertaining and the Reversion and Reversions Remaninder and Remainders Rents issues and profits thereof and every part and parcel thereof with the appurtenances To Have and To Hold the said Lot of ground Number Eighty nine above Particularly described and hereby intended to be Conveyed with the appurtenances unto the said Isaac Huyck doth covenant and agree to and with the said his heirs and assigns to the only Proper use and behoof of him the said Issac Huyck his heirs and assigns forever and the said Jacob Huyck doth Covenant and agree to and with the said Isaac Huyck that he the said Jacob Huyck Will Warrant and Defend the said lot of ground against all and Every Person and Persons Claiming from or under him the said Jacob Huyck In Witness whereof the said Jacob Huyck hath hereunto set his hand and Seal the day and date first above Written Signed Sealed and Delivered } in presence of Peter Huyck } Jacob Huyck {L S} John Dorn Junior } State of New York Delaware County } On the Eighteeneth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight and fourteen Before me Ebenezer Took first Judge of the Court of Common Pleas in and for said County Personally came Peter Huyck of the town of Tompkins who is to me personally Known and being duly Sworn saith that he is well acquainted with Jacob Huyck the within named grantor and that he saw the said Jacob Sign And Seal the within Indenture and that he the deponent and John Dorn Jun Subscribed their names to the same in presence of each other as Witnesses I have examined said Indenture and find therein no interlineation or other material Alterations therefore do allow the same to be Recorded Ebenezer Took Ck In Margin of page 166: Recorded this 18th Day of 1814 May G H Edgerton Dept Clk |
