Cornelius Koegers & wife to
Charles Stuart 3 Locke Know all men by these presents that we Sarah Koegers of the City and county of (????), and daughter of John Minard of the town of Locke County of Cayuga deceased and Cornelius Koeger her husband have for and in consideration of the sum of fifty dollars good and lawful money of the United States of America to us in hand paid by Charles Stuart of the town of Locke in the County of Cayuga and state of New York the receipt whereof, we do hereby confess and acknowledge have bargained sold remised released and forever quit claimed and by these persents Do grant bargain sell remise release and forever Quit claim unto the aforesaid Charles Stuart, ( one (???) thee in law.) All and all manner of dower and right and title of dower whatsoever which we the said Sarah Koeger and Cornelius Koeger her husband now have may might should or of right ought hereafter to have or claim of in or out of Lot number three in the township of Loche County of Cayuga and State of New York which were belonging to the real and personal estate of John Minard (our Fathers late deceased) And also all manner of rechosen? actions writ and rents of dower what soever so as we the said Sarah and Cornelius Koegers nor any other person for us or in our name any manner of dower for in the said Lot number three or in any part or parcel thereof, at any time hereafter, shall or may have claim demand or prsecute against the said Charles Stuart his heirs or assigns forever In witness whereof, we have hereunto set our hands and seals the thirtyeth day of July in the year of our lord eighteen hundred and twenty eight. Signed sealed and delivered in the presence of Ebse Smith Eleanor Manard, State of New York Cayuga County SS on this 30th day of July 1828 personally appeared before me Cornelius Koegers and Sally Koegers wife of said cornelius to me me well known to be the same persons described in and who executed the written deed and severally acknowledged the voluntary execution thereof for the uses and purposes therein mentioned and the said Sally being by me examened separate and apart from her said husband did declare that she executed the same freely without any said threats or compulsion from her said husband therefore let it be recorded. Ebw Smith Com Je Know all persons to whom it may concern that I Charles Stuart of the town of Locke in the County of Cayuga and State of New York for the consideration of Fifty three dollars lawful currency of the State of New York to me in hand paid by Samuel Minard Mary Minard (formerly, but now Mary Stuart) the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge and am therewith fully satisfied and paid and by these presents have bargained sold released Quit claimed and conveyed All the within named dower right as is within described lying in lot number three in the town of Locke to the aforementioned Samuel Minard and Mary Stuart and to their heirs and assigns forever In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal at Locke the second day of September in the year of Our Lord Eighteen hundred and thirty one. release and acknowledged the voluntary execution thereof for the uses and purposes therein mentioned let same be recorded Ebw Smith Com J (sa???) Know all persons whom it may concern that I Mary Stuart of the town of Locke County of Caguga and State of New York for the consideration of twenty seven dollars to me in hand paid by Samuel Minard of the same place the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge and am therewith fully satisfied & paid by these presents have Quick claimed released and conveyed unto said Samuel Minard all my right title and interest to the wtithin release of the dower right formerly belonging to Cornelius and Sarah Koegers and by them released to Charles Stuart prefference being there unto his will more fully appear together will all the appurtenances there unto belonging or appertaining unto the said Samuel Minard his heirs and assigns forever In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal the seventh day of November at Locke Eighteen hundred and thirty one.
