To all whom it may Concern:
Know ye, that Reuben F Miner , a Private of Captain E A Meacham Company [“F”] 30th Regiment of Wisconsin Infantry Volunteers who was enrolled on the 12th day of August one thousand eight hundred and Sixty two to serve Three years, or during the war, is hereby discharged from the service of the United States, this fifth day of April 1865, at U.S. General Hospital Quincy Ill. By reason of the Surgeon’s Certificate of Disability . *[No objection to his being re-enlisted is known to exist.] Disability Total . Said Reuben F Miner was born in Cayuga County in the State of New York is 27 years of age, 5 feet 8 ½ inches high, Dark complexion, Blue eyes, Black hair, and by occupation when enrolled, a Boatman . Given at U.S. General Hospital Quincy Ill. This 5th day of April 1865.
