Joseph Bowker } This Indenture made the fourteenth
to } day of June in the year of our Lord one
John Minard } thousand eight hundred and twenty six
4 Locke 25 a } Between Joseph Bowker of the town
of Locke county of Cayug and state of New York of the first
part and John Minard of the place aforesaid of the second
part. Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for
and in consideration of the sum of Twenty five Dollars
lawful money of the United States of America to him in
hand paid by the said party of the second part at or before
the ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged: Hath bargained, sold,
remised and quit claimed and by these presents do the
bargain sell, remise and quit claim unto the said party
of the second part in his actual possession now being and
to his heirs and assigns forever All that equal individ
half of fifty acres of land situate on lot No four in the
town of Locke lying in the northwest corner of sd Lot
No four nearly in a square form and is more fully
known by being formily owned by John Minard deceased and
now conveyed by John Minard as an heir of the sd John
Minard deceased. Together with all and singular the heredita-
=ments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise apper-
=taining: and the reversion and reversions, remaider and remain-
-ders, rents issues and profits thereof: and also all the estate right
title, interest, claim or demand whatsoever of him the said party of
the first part, either in law or equity of in and to the above bargained
premises and every part and parcel thereof to the said party of the

second part his heirs and assigns to the sole and only proper use, benfit
and behoof of the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever
In witness whereof the said party of the first part, hath hereunto
set his hand and seal the day and year first above written

Cayuga County SS On the 14th day of June in the year 1826 be-
-fore me Salmon Cone one of the commissioners of said county
to take the acknowledgment of deeds &c appeared Joseph Bow-
=ker who is to me known to be the person named and acknowledged
that he had executed within deed for the uses and purposes
